We are an award winning, Family-Owned Tree Service company looking to hire an experienced tree climber / arborist to lead one of our tree crews. We are looking for a person who is dedicated and driven. ISA certification is a huge PLUS but not required. We will help you obtain ISA certification. WE DO MINIMAL PALM TREE WORK! Our specialty is large tree removal and trimming. WE ARE OFFERING A $1,000 SIGNING BONUS. REQUIRED: * Minimum 2 years climbing experience. * Knowledge of proper pruning techniques. Experience with light rope rigging. * Ability to operate and maintain a chainsaw, chipper and other equipment. * Must be willing to wear proper PPE and follow safety guidelines (We will provide all PPE). * Must have personal climbing gear such as saddle and spikes. * Ability to work well with others and be a team player. * Strong leadership and communication skills. This is a full-time position with occasional overtime. Guaranteed 40hrs a week pay, even if you finish your day early! We start work at 6am Monday - Friday. No weekends or holidays. Must be able to work in the heat, lift 50+ lbs, and have your own transportation. We offer 401k, medical coverage, paid sick days and vacation leave.
