We're looking for a full time foodie to fill a part time food tour guide role. We know that you love food and are especially excited about those hidden gems around town. Are you also a people person who gets energy from talking to and helping others? Our guests come from all parts of the city and the country, from all backgrounds and situations – and that diversity excites you. Our food tours guides are also resourceful. They love taking care of people, and they can make solid decisions on the fly. Taste Carolina is a women owned business that started as a passion project and has grown into the largest food tour operator in North Carolina, with multiple tours operating in each of our nine cities. We partner with locally owned restaurants to highlight the diversity and talent of our local food scene, weaving interesting stories and history into our 2-3 hour walking (and eating) tours. Most of all, we consider ourselves ambassadors for out-of-town and local guests, helping introduce them to restaurants and experiences that might not otherwise try.
