Manning Building Supplies, Inc. in Apopka is seeking a highly motivated and energetic person for the position of Window Department Service Technician. Manning Building Supplies, Inc. is a Florida based, family owned and operated building supply company since 1979. As a Window Department Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing various window types for Custom Home Builders and Remodelers in Orange County and local surrounding areas. Knowledge of aluminum, vinyl and wood clad windows is preferred but will train. • Must be able to understand and diagnose repair issues of various window functions. • Will be required to travel to job sites for repairs and service needs as well as monitor progress of related jobs. • All tools of the trade will be provided. • Will be responsible for inventory management of parts and units while being able to pick up and carry medium to large size objects. • Must work independently using strong time management and organization skills. • Must create and maintain accurate reports of parts needed and job completions. • Must interact with sales staff, customers and homeowners using strong communication skills. • Must submit and pass a thorough pre-employment background check, DMV check and drug screen.
