OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is seeking information after an unknown person pulled up next to and shot at an off duty deputy late Saturday. According to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, the deputy was driving on I-96, between the Merriman and Farmington Road exits, on his way to work, when an unknown driver pulled his vehicle beside the deputy's and shot once at the deputy's vehicle. Bouchard said the suspect was described as a Black man in his mid-to-late-20s or 30s, with either braids or dreadlocks to his shoulders. The sheriff also said the suspect had a light, scruffy beard.
