Position: Lead Maintenance Technician needed at the Parkwest Apartments, a 240-unit garden style apartment community, located one block from OSU campus right across from Reser Stadium. This building has a high turnover in the summer months. We are looking to add a motivated self-starter to our team who is thorough, experienced, organized, and enjoys building a positive environment for residents and co-workers. This is a full time, 40-hour per week position, scheduled hours are Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Salary for this position is $23.00- $25.00 per hour depending on experience. You will also receive mileage reimbursement for required trainings and a $50.00 cell phone reimbursement. Rotating on-call responsibilities Responsibilities: • Review punch list and complete items in a timely manner or as instructed. • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required. • Work closely with 1-2 maintenance technicians and a maintenance supervisor. • Complete all resident maintenance/repair requests in a timely and professional manner. • Utilize a P.O. system for purchases. • Repairs including light electrical and plumbing • General apartment maintenance (interior & exterior) and turnover work • Maintain and monitor interior and exterior common area cleanliness Qualifications: • Knowledgeable in all aspects including: • Apartment maintenance • Turnover work • Repairs including electrical and plumbing experience • Painting skills • Must work with residents in a professional manner • Strong communication skills • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Able to work with little supervision • Have a basic set of hand and electric tools • Pool experience a plus!
