Warehouse Associate/Truck Driver Job Timings: 4am – 1pm Pay: $16.50 - $20/hr Job Days: Monday to Friday Benefits: Employees will also be compensated with benefits like: We pay Signing Bonus of $250 over 90 days of employment Duties: Review Orders for Accuracy Cross check all items on an order picked by shoppers against the picking list Ensure the correct product was picked Ensure the correct quantity was picked Ensure Perishable items are high quality Fix any incorrectly picked items with the correct items Work with Operations Manager to ensure the correct orders are quality checked and pushed to check out in the correct sequence Communicate any Out of Stock items to the Operations Manager Drive Bobtail delivery truck and deliver product in a safe and timely manner Position Requirements: This position is a fast paced, detailed oriented job. You will be working in a warehouse environment, so you will be on your feet all day long and quality checking up to 30 orders per day. You must be able to bring order to a fast-paced environment and be comfortable completing detail-oriented tasks under pressure. This position also requires good communication skills as you will be interacting with the warehouse staff and operation manager. - Ability to pass a background test - Be punctual, energetic, reliable, and honest. - Ability to work independently and resolve problems and issues as they arise - Ability to lift a 50lb case. - Ability to stand on your feet throughout a shift. - Ability to drive a Bobtail Truck Established in 2002, Arena Distributing is a foodservice distributor that supplies foodservice product from Restaurant Depot and Sam’s Club. The warehouse associate/driver has two main responsibilities. The first is to pick product and manage the checkout process at our 3rd party warehouse. The associate needs to ensure orders are checked out in the correct flow so that customers receive on-time deliveries. As part of this responsibility the associate verifies that items are scanned accurately and communication between picking operations is clear. The second is to deliver pulled and invoiced product to customers in the surrounding Orange County area. Must have a clean driving record. - Organize orders for checkout in the correct flow – Check order for accuracy - Provide direction to 3rd party cashiers - Create Invoices for all orders - Manage all paper receipts – Deliver products in a timely and safe manner to customers.
