We are looking for individuals looking who have prior experience as Irrigation Technicians, or as Landscape Maintenance Workers. The scope of work for both jobs will be presented below. Irrigation Technicians: We are looking for reliable and experienced irrigation technicians to install and service our client’s irrigation equipment. As an irrigation technician, you will be responsible for mapping out irrigation areas, digging trenches, installing equipment, testing the system. As well you will be conducting regular maintenance checks, and may be required to install electrical timer systems (as requested). Job Duties: -Inspecting and loading equipment for the day’s work. -Driving to the client’s location. -Testing the soil and vegetation to determine irrigation needs. -Mapping out areas for irrigation installation. -Digging trenches and installing pipes and lines. -Installing pumps and electrical timers. -Testing the irrigation system with the aid of computer software. -Conducting routine maintenance checks. -Troubleshooting and replacing faulty parts. -Completing progress reports and associated paperwork. Job Requirements: -Proven work experience as an Irrigation Technician. -Knowledge of irrigation and electrical timer systems. -Good communication skills. -Knowledge of plumbing is preferable. -Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. -Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects. -Knowledge of soil, vegetation, and climate. Landscape Maintenance Workers: We are looking for reliable and experienced landscape maintenance workers to service and maintain our customers properties. As a landscaper you will be providing a wide variety of services that are essential to the design and maintenance of the landscape. Job Duties: -Mowing, and edging of lawns -Weeding of all landscape beds -Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs appropriately -Removing any unwanted, dead or damaged trees, shrubs, or plants -Monitoring and maintaining plant, tree, shrub and grass health -Use of chemical weed abatement and fertilizers -Use of leaf blowers: blowing of parking lot, sidewalks, etc. -Will be working out doors full-time Job Requirements: -Previous experience is preferred; but not required (previous experience may help you advance faster) -Physical Stamina and self-motivated -On time and reliable -Great communication
