I have 6 pieces of heirloom furniture to move to storage either Sat, Sun, or Monday (19th, 20th, 21st).
The items need care and the narrow legs are NOT removable.
Too much for a pickup truck unless you have a ramp and make multiple trips. Also not doable for one person.
These items cannot be stacked without damaging them, nor can they be turned on their sides “to make room”.
The pieces:
One large antique dresser — 72 x 30 x 18
One long vintage credenza — 72 x 27 x 18
One very large drafting table and stool — 60 x 37 x 30
One large side table — 36 x 29 x 17
One square coffee table — 36 x 36 x 17
Everything will be wrapped well and moving/storage blankets will be provided and go with them into storage. Really is about carefully loading and unloading them. The rest is done.
3 steps to front door (2 to landing, one into room). All of the pieces will be in one room nearest door.
Storage unit is 2 miles from apartment, so a very short trip, once picked up.
Shouldn’t take 2 people more than an hour total, once here.
