We are a family owned and operated termite and pest control company that is seeking an experienced Wood Repair Technician. This includes tasks such as: reinforcing and replacing fascia boards, shiplap, patio posts and beams, as well as other wood repairs, painting and patching, replacing doors and door locks, repairing subarea and soffit vents, other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will understand quality wood repair techniques and house construction. Qualified applicants should have above average carpentry skills, be mechanically inclined, have good communication skills, and an ability to work with minimal supervision. Pay: · $20-$27.50 per hour depending on skills. Paid daily. No insurance, no benefits. A 1099 will be filed upon request. Job Type: · On-Call Part-Time, Monday-Friday must be willing to work weekends, hours dependent on job volume. Some weeks are busier than others. Qualifications: · Must have a driver license and own a truck or van. (Ladder rack beneficial) · Must have one year of previous experience in construction and have a working knowledge of all aspects of building repairs. · Must have working knowledge of construction equipment, such as a mitre and table saw, and angle finder. · Must have some basic tools. · Must know painting and drywall repairs. · Must be able to work in attic, subarea, or other confined spaces. · Ability to work independently. · Strong attention to detail. · Must be able to effectively work at a fast pace while maintaining safety. · Must be responsible, polite, honest, and reliable. · Ability to carry 40 lbs and climb a ladder.
