Seeking a Project Manager with a LEVEL 4 Water Certificate to operate and maintain rest areas across the state of UT. You will be given a vehicle and computer, company gas card and phone. Your job will be to work with each of our Area Managers to ensure each rest area is running properly and to make sure water testing is done in a timely manner. The Role of the Project Manager is for you to over see the day to day operations of the Rest Areas and coordinate directly on items of interest with the UDOT Project Manager. You will act as the main POC for all issues related to the rest area. Your responsibilities are as follows but not limited to: Providing necessary resources needed to meet the contract requirements All invoices and work orders are reviewed before being submitted to the UDOT Project Manager for final approval All HR issues are addressed with the rest area staff Ensure that regularly scheduled meetings are held with the UDOT to discuss and review issues and concerns regarding the rest areas. Verify that all required employees of the contractor have the appropriate certification and licenses at all times and are being kept current. The preventative maintenance plan is kept up to date and is accessible at all times by the UDOT Project Manager. All Major items of work have been properly scoped, scheduled, and received necessary approval from UDOT before proceeding. In addition to the Area Managers, the Project Manager MUST be Level 4 Water Quality Certified. The Project Manager will keep an up to date spreadsheet of all UDOT water systems and ekep detailed the current status and will report on any issue with the UDOT and DDW. The Project Manager will be responsible to respond to concerns and complaints as received from UDOT staff and the public and communicate with UDOT PM to ensure the issues are resolved. You must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a criminal background check. The pay for this position will be dependent on if you have your Water Certificate already if you are close to achieving it and how much experience you have in doing this scope of work, you will do quite a bit of travel for this position so plan on being gone for long hours a day.
