Please read the entire ad, there is a lot of detail here that is important. Scout is eight years old, up-to-date on vaccinations, recently groomed, and also has been neutered. I am being very specific on the home that he goes to due to some separation anxiety. He requires somebody who is home all the time preferably a couple without children or a mom who has older children. He would be happiest with an older couple who will sit on the couch and let him go for car rides. I would love to see him go to someone who just recently lost a pet and that he will be the only dog, because we do seem to have an issue with marking out of attitude with other animals. I am asking for a rehoming fee of $300, this is nonnegotiable. It is not about the money however I need to make sure that someone will seek out veterinary care and grooming expenses, please do not message me and ask if I will take less – if you can’t pay the $300 you cannot pay to keep up with him. I am asking that rehoming fee to guarantee that he has a permanent loving home. Scout is extremely affectionate and is glued to my 10 year old tip, to the point of crying and freaking when she is not home or outside. Her home situation has changed, I have two infant twins, and we have two larger dogs that he seems to think he has small dog syndrome. He does get along with other animals but I am afraid that he will mark in the home with another dog especially if it is a male, and he is very set in his ways because of his age. Due to this I think he would be better as an only dog. If you work and he is going to be in a crate, please do not reply to this message. Ideally I would like to see him with a retired a couple who walked out on him and allow him to accompany them on their trips.
