Environmental Field Technician Position A full time position is available for environmental technician with an environmental consulting company located near Somerset, New Jersey. Job responsibilities include 1) field support for groundwater, soil and surface water sampling; 2) operations and maintenance of groundwater treatment systems; 3) ground penetrating radar and utility markout; 4) sub-contractor oversight and management. Excellent mechanical skills required. Successful applicant will have ability to work independently with supervision, have excellent attention to detail and good motivation. To be considered for this position you must have a high school diploma, 2 to 4 years' experience in related mechanical field, computer skills, excellent work references and clean driving record. Ability to travel for several days per month is required. Drug screening required. 40 hour OSHA training a plus. Position is full time with salary range of $32,000 to $38,000 per year depending on experience. Flexible work environment. Paid mileage or company vehicle available.
