Wish to hire a handyman for Friday (2/18), Saturday (2/19) OR Sunday (2/20) to complete the following tasks in my rental property.
(1) One of the shut-off valves to a kitchen faucet will not fully close. Wish to replace both cold/hot water valves.
(2) Boiler has not been flushed and radiators bleeded in some time. Expect to power flush at a later point but simple flush is needed for now (unless you have power flush equipment).
(3) Replace shut-off valve to boiler. Last time I did a simple flush, the valve was temperamental when closing.
(4) Remove cabinet on basement wall (demo)
(5) Remove caulking on tub and replace with new bead
(6) Cut-out bottom to cabinet underneath kitchen faucet (previously water saturated). Overlay with new board.
-- Depending on timing and how it goes, I may have a few other simple tasks to add.
-- You must have suitable plumbing knowledge to replace valves, solder new surrounding copper, and bleed the boiler.
-- I can dispose of all debris/trash.
-- You bring your own supplies to accomplish the above. I can, however, supply a Sawzall and fresh blade for #6 above.
Let me know your experience, which day is your preference and how you charge. I do own a few other rental properties in the area and hope to establish a relationship with someone.
The house is a short drive from Home Depot (Somerville). We can head over to buy whatever materials are needed after first meeting on-site and doing a walk-thru.
My guess is that this all will fill no less than 4-5 hours of your day.
Off-street parking in driveway.
