Aloha! We are a Landscape Contractor and Landscape Maintenace Company looking to hire a Small Engine Mechanic. This role is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing motorized power equipment. The person in this position will identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel system problems and then make necessary repairs. The ideal candidate will have verifiable experience in the maintenance and repair of small equipment. Position requirements include: • Discuss equipment issues and maintenance plans • Perform routine engine maintenance such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs • Diagnose, test, and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts • Adjust components according to specifications • Repair or replace worn, defective or broken parts • Reassemble and reinstall components following engine repairs • Keep a record of inspections, test results, work performed • Exercise safety measures within all aspects of the work environment • Work well in a team environment • Assist in other operational areas as needed • Must have some basic tools • Ability to lift 100 pounds • Driver's License is preferred Salary is based on experience and skill level.
