ASHLAND, CA — Potatoes the cat may be in hot water with his owner after getting stuck in a tree and needing a full-on rescue, but at least he's not smashed Potatoes!
Potatoes bit off more than he could chew when he climbed a huge tree in an Ashland backyard. Lucky for him, the firefighters of Rescue 24 came to his, well, rescue.
Firefighter Blake O'Hara is credited with scaling the tree as another firefighter spotted him.
Potatoes was placed safely in his owner's arms after getting an assist climbing down.
