Work Environment:
Work for this position is performed outside, regardless of weather conditions.
Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
Have a good understanding of daily tasks, and perform it in a safe productive manner, without errors.
Make sound decisions in preventing hazards to yourself and co-worker.
Perform all rail loading activities following AAR practices and standards.
Obey all OSHA, FRA, AAR, local and state guidelines and regulations.
Properly wear safety equipment when working in and around rail.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to frequently bend, twist, lift, and practice safe lifting methods.
Must be able to work within confined spaces.
Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits:
Local schedule, day or night shift work.
12-hour shifts, up to 14-hours per shift.
$1K-2K per week.
