CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Does your precious pooch deserve his own portrait? A Castro Valley man is creating abstract drawings of pets, that he gives to people for free. His only request is they give a donation to a pet rescue group. Ed Attanasio lost the majority of his income to the coronavirus pandemic, but he has turned his focus away from his problems, instead concerning himself with brightening the lives of others. The portraits are petite, drawn on 3-inch Post-it notes. You can see his work on the Facebook page, Pandemic Pet Project, where you can also order a photo. Read more in the East Bay Times.
