Description
ASHLAND, CA — If a cat has nine lives, this tiny kitten may already be missing one. She was pulled from a car's engine block after the owner drove the car.
The near catastrophe happened Sunday in Ashland. (Did you see what we did there — cat-astrophe?)
The driver heard a sound coming from the engine compartment as she was driving, so she pulled into a fire station and asked for help.
The firefighters at Station 24 got busy, with 5 firefighters tinkering under the hood to free her as another took video.
The Alameda County Fire Department shared the lucky save on social media.
