Our Newton, MA, client requires a houseman/property maintenance professional. The main home is 9,000 sq ft, a new build just recently completed. The young couple is looking for a professional willing to lend a hand around the house, a team player who can assist them put their home together now and maintain the house ongoing. Responsibilities: • Open boxes - Track incoming boxes and ensure that returns happen according to the return policy • Maintain the cleanliness of the home's exterior • Cleaning windows – interior • Using power equipment specialty equipment during the summer months • Supporting and managing the landscaping vendors and lawn care as needed • Supported basic interior cleaning the floors, fireplaces, storage rooms, and organization of • Perform routine maintenance to the home- changing light bulbs, troubleshooting, garage door repair, etc. • Must he tech-savvy, used to working with smart home technology • Preparations for the winter season – bring the furniture in and winterize outside water spickets etc. • Assistance with event set up and break down. Must be physically fit, ability to list 50 lbs. • Garbage and recycling removal • Washing, gassing, vacuuming, wiping for the interior of vehicles • Complete other small projects on the estate, have an eye for detail, and be highly organized • At times support Mr. on a Saturday with small projects, he can't do alone This position is for a basic houseman/handyman with property maintenance experience. The environment is casual and active. The candidate will take direction well and must have the common sense to complete tasks independently. Immediate start for qualified candidates Details: • Schedule: Monday through Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM • Salary: $65 to $80k a year D/O/E, 40 hours per week • Medical contribution • Must possess a valid driver's license • Must pass a criminal background check • Must have experience in handyman, property maintenance, and or houseman • Knowledge of power equipment and heavy equipment is advantageous
