the Town of Huntersville Posted on: December 7, 2020 Posted on: December 7, 2020 MeckCounty Notice of Public Hearing Community Development Block Grant 2021 Annual Action Plan MECKLENBURG COUNTY Notice of Public Meeting Community Development Block Grant Entitlement Program 2021 Annual Action Plan December 6, 2020 To All Interested Agencies, Groups, and Persons: For Program Year 2021 (FY 2021-2022), Mecklenburg County anticipates receiving an allocation of $790,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Community Development Block Grant program. To receive funds, the County must file an Action Plan, which includes the resources and activities to address housing, economic development, and community development issues. All activities must primarily benefit lower income persons. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the County will hold a virtual public hearing on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11:30AM, to obtain views and proposals from citizens at the initial stage of preparing the Action Plan and to enable citizens the opportunity to comment on the County's community development program and goals.
