I am an accomplished drummer (a pocket drummer) who has many influences. I prefer late 60’s early 70’s blues based rock but I also played in an R&B band with horns and that would be fun too. We should be able to lock into a groove and lose ourselves in the music: stated goal. Think Zep, Hendrix, Cream, Clapton, Who, ZZ-Top, Deep Purple, Etc... Have you heard the alternate recordings of Band of Gypsys that came out a couple of years ago? Mind blowing. That’s where my head is at. I’m 56 and mellow. No ego. Can talk music all day. Love Bonham of course. Ginger Baker of course. Buddy Miles. Max Roach. Sly & Robbie. Stewart Copeland. Buddy Rich my all time favorite. I don’t care how young or old you are either. Originals are fine too. But at the same time I don’t want to work with people who are still learning. Let’s jam. Not form a group. Sincerely, Tony
