This TWO DAY workshop will teach you everything there is to know about using lighting to create amazing portraits This TWO DAY workshop will teach you everything there is to know about using lighting to create amazing portraits Day 1: Location: Venue 404, Oshkosh WI 11am-5pm The first day will be filled with photographing! Take amazing pictures inside of a former bank which was used in the Johnny Depp film, Public Enemies! You will get step by step knowledge of how to create properly lit photographs whether it be in a typical studio setting, on location indoors, or outside on location. Josh will provide lighting for you to use/try to capture photos of a wide variety of models. Models are provided and are a range of genger, color, and size to help you learn on all types of subjects. Personal lighting is not required for this day but you are welcome to bring your own if you have some so you are comfortable with what you have. Day 2(Optional add-on). Location: Josh Russell Studios, Kaukauna WI Noon-4pm The second optional day will be a classroom style. We will take the photos you took on day one and show you how to edit them to bring another level to your photos. You will learn skin cleanup and blemish removal, an intro to frequency separation, how to color grade, and how to add in elements to a photo to make them stand out. This will be a step-by-step learning process with YOUR photos from day one. You will be required to bring a laptop or ipad if you want to edit your own photos, otherwise you are welcome to join and take notes.
