Learn how to get involved in planning and execution of social events for Urban Professionals Community, Inc. (UPC) Hey Folks, UPC is expanding, and we want to partner with our growing membership to make this nonprofit organization better than ever! Interested in learning how? Join us the day after the Dating in the District event to learn more about our social events committee. Who we are looking for: - Individuals who enjoy UPC and enjoy socializing with young black professionals - Individuals looking to build friendships while helping others do the same - Individuals who want to influence the types of events UPC provides - Individuals looking to help us plan charitable services - Individuals willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in planning and execution We have roles for both introverts and extroverts, people who like to plan and people who like to just show up and socialize. NOTE: We have also scheduled a separate interest meeting for those interested in joining our wealth-building committee, which will plan and execute all of our wealth building programs and events. Our mission is to equip young black professionals with healthy habits that breed success in areas surrounding wealth, business, and personal growth. Such habits will include healthy money management, home investment, setting up passive income, starting businesses, and economic awareness to name a few. The goal is for these habits to become so ingrained in our lives, that they trickle down into our families, social circles, and overall community for generations to come.Our events will include both social hours and mastermind sessions where we sit and learn from each other as well as experienced professionals in various fields.
