From the Cura Amazónica healing series: Hapé SnuffWe bring you RODA DO HAPÉ a workshop teaching the traditional indigenous roots and uses of the Hapé snuff in an intimate sacred medicine circle. Join us in this immersion and get closer to the Amazonian rain forest healing, and the culture of the Yawanawá people. This workshop will give you an opportunity to deepen your studies on power plant medicines and their traditional use.
Learn about its origins, the correct way of using this sacred medicine, the do and don’ts and healing benefits.
The medicine Hapé will be presented to participants who wish to experience firsthand the use of this Amazonian plant medicine.
Cátia dos Santos and her Arara medicine will be lead the workshop. Cátia has had several initiations into the Earth medicines cultures and service. She has been leading sacred circles where she teaches shamanism in shamanic journeys format, where the participant has an opportunity to directly experience self empowerment and transformation.
Musician curanderos Luis Bonilla and Marek Schneider will take us on a deep forestal musical journey to enhance connection and call in the spirits to aid our circle.
Following the Hapé ceremony, there will be a song circle for participants to share music.
