"The Ins and Outs of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy - Before, During and After Pregnancy"
Most of us don’t think about our pelvic health much in our early lives. When everything functions as it should, there’s no reason to pay too much attention. Carrying and birthing a baby offers an ideal time to check in with our overall pelvic health, and to get ourselves set up to function well through the next phases of our lives. When you consider all the things our pelvis does for us, it’s worth the time and effort to get everything in order after major events like pregnancy and birth. We have two pelvic physical therapists who will educate us more on why pelvic health is important.
We will start with a postpartum friendly warm-up lead by ULA and Us. Followed by a 5k run/walk down to the waterfront and back with Miran & Christy.
Post run we will have a cool-down lead by ULA and Us, snacks and drinks, then gather and listen to our guest speaker. Q&A at the end.
Please bring a mask and your vaccination card. Let us know if you plan on bringing your baby/toddler!
