Little Hikers are headed to Monument Valley Park where we will follow the gold coins to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Event Details: Join UpaDowna Little Hikers at the Monument Valley Park North End Playground where we will follow the gold coins to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! This is a stroller friendly event. This is a SPUR event - Similar Paths United by Recreation. It is geared towards Little Hikers, which means it is for families with toddlers or preschoolers. Bring water, snacks, sturdy shoes, sunscreen/sun protection, and wear layers as it may be chilly! Meeting Point: Parking - 1818 Culebra Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Walk down the hill and meet at the playground. Cost: FREE! UpaDowna's mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all. We strive to break down barriers and get our community outside! Cash, Venmo, and check donations are accepted. Your donations are important to UpaDowna and allow us to continue to offer free and affordable events! COVID-19 Considerations: UpaDowna is not requiring masks to be worn by our staff or participants at this time. We encourage our community to follow CDC guidelines and welcome those would like to wear a mask to do so. Please respect other's decisions as we make our way through this pandemic together! Many of us walk the same path and don’t even know it. Finding camaraderie with others who share similar interests helps us feel more comfortable with new experiences. Many times, it can also help to share your challenges with folks who are “climbing” the same mountain as you. Little Hikers SPUR Events are for families with young children.Can I bring my family to the event? Yes. This is a hike specifically for families with toddlers to preschoolers. Our mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all through events and programs that empower individuals, create healthier communities, and foster a respect for the environment. We offer 6 programs that are free or donation based and open to the public. Our goal is to serve all ages and abilities by providing the education and outdoor gear needed to be successful.
