I have a beautiful Tiger Oscar Cichlid named Luke Cage. He is about 2.5 years old and living in a 55 gallon tank alone. As much as my boyfriend and I love him, he seems absolutely miserable and we both worry that it's because 55 gallons just isn't enough room for this spunky dude. He has broken several filters by bashing his head into them over and over again... he also used to attack decor and hurt himself as well... so, with that said, he does have a couple scars here and there. Some of them are on his head which could be confused with Hole in the Head, but it's not that - it's scarring from him being an angry and savage punk. We would LOVE to be able to get him a larger tank, sadly, we absolutely do not have the space for it... we are already pushing it with the 55 gallon. I would love to find him a home with somebody who is experienced with Oscars in general and have a larger tank than 55 gallons. If you are genuinely interested, please send me a photo of your setup that he would live in and let me know a little bit about what you know about Oscars. In return, I will send you a photo of the beautiful guy! I really want him to go to a great home. If you have an amazing set up for him and enough space, there is no re-homing fee. I just want him to be happy.
