Join us in our Mix-Media Makers class for kids ft. a local SF based artist Shannon. Learn how to give new life to everyday materials! Learn from Shannon's signature style in creating 3D sculpture nature inspired animals made out of recycled bicycle parts and other mixed media materials. Come learn how to give new life to everyday materials and repurposed found objects in this fun hands-on class with Shannon!In this class, students will complete 4 take-home projects exploring her found-art process through this 7 series class.Drop-ins are welcome! This class is for kids ages 5-10 years old. Projects include:A dominos set made out of smooth stones with a customized fabric carrying case.Found nature stick creations - Let your imagination run with with everyday materialsThe process of Abstract art and your surrounding: The third project will explore bugs, insects and animals through found materials we collect together in Bueno Vista park with other materials provided by the instructorLastly, the kids will get to get creative with colorful seed and bean art.
