Leaders in cardiovascular, pulmonary, orthopedic surgery will address a variety of innovative topics in the advancement of medicine. The Symposium will provide CME credit to physicians and various other attendees in the medical field. Poster presentations will highlight the impressive research that our area physicians, fellows, residents and medical students are conducting, have completed and/or have presented at the national level or published in medical journals. Awards will be presented the day of the Symposium. The Western Kentucky Heart and Lung Research Foundation and Educational Trust is proud to be in collaboration with Med Center Health in order to accomplish our research and educational goals. It is toward this purpose that we have created the annual Research Foundation Symposium. The Symposium serves as a mode for sharing evidence-based educational activities that will provide clinicians with information on the most current treatment guidelines and techniques in the field of cardiovascular medicine. This event is designed for physicians, APRNs, Technicians related to the field of cardiovascular medicine and physicians-in-training. CME credits will be offered for this event.
