Gigging Rock Band Seeks Lead Guitar

Hello Bham community! I am posting on behalf of a local original rock band. We are a gigging band with plans in the next year to take our act on targeted tours down the west coast, out to Chicago and many more areas. The current line up is Bass, Drums, Guitar/Violin, and Vocals. We are seeking an additional guitar player/song writer who has lead guitar skills. This will enable our current players more flexibility and ultimately more creativity! Everyone in the band is in the age category of 20s-30s and we would be seeking folks within that same range. A foundational part of our group is to be accepting of all orientations, gender identities, etc. and we would be seeking an individual who can be on the same page as the rest of the members. Our music style has been described as many things: Alternative Rock, Blues, Southern Rock, Grunge, Metal. I would say that our band is a mixture of all things rock n roll! Our influences are extremely wide ranging as we enjoy everything from Chicago Blues to Death Metal. We pride ourselves on taking pieces of everything to develop our own sound and style. Our ideal candidate would enjoy a wide range of musical styles and they would also understand that being in a band means being a part of a team. We would like to bring on someone who fits with the team and can also help raise us up musically to the next level!
