Position Summary
The Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
*Removes trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
*Assists in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
*Performs assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
*Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models.
*Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
*Delivers communication documentation to residents.
*Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
*Power wash sidewalks, entry areas, common areas, pool deck, breezeways, etc.
*Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Property Manager/Lead Maintenance Supervisor.
*Clean and maintain pool, grill and pool furniture.

Qualifications
*Basic proficiency of reading and writing of the English language.
*Willingness to perform all required tasks.
*Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits.
*Ability to organize and prioritize work.
*Ability to interact effectively with staff and residents.
*Ability to work individually and with a team.
Education/Certification
▪ High school diploma or GED preferred
