It will be a celebration and a great representation of young manhood on n Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 9:00 am. Our Young Lions, have prepared an uplifting, spiritually charged presentation celebrating their own individual uniqueness, acknowledging their collective differences, and breaking down barriers and stereotypes. The event will be hosted by spoken word artist and actor Joe P. Our keynote speaker will be Pastor Michael V. Smith and gospel recording artists Kathy Taylor & Trinity Dawson will share their gifts. Mufasa’s Pride “The Pride of My Father” is a divinely inspired and formulated community base program for urban adolescent males.  God gave the vision for this program to Hondre’ Outley, who then sought the support of his long time friend Cornelius Wright Jr. to develop Mufasa’s Pride.  With divine inspiration, passion, determination and a heart for the youth of today, Hondre’ and Cornelius created this dynamic and impactful program for urban males.   Mufasa’s Pride has been serving Houston and the surrounding communities since 2010. The goal of Mufasa’s Pride is to equip young men with tools to be positive, powerful and purposeful servant leaders of tomorrow.
