Welcome Back to OCIF! To attend Jumua'h prayer at OCIF during COVID-19 restrictions, you MUST pre-register and adhere to the following guidelines and rules: To pray at OCIF you must register through this eventbrite to attend Jumua'h prayer. 1. If you have any COVID symptoms, please stay home and Do Not come to the Masjid. 2. If you were in close contact with someone who has COVID or suspected of having COVID, please stay home and Do Not come to the Masjid. 3. Registration is required for Jumua’h prayers. 4. Proof of vaccination is required at check-in to pray indoors at the Masjid. 5. Temperature will be checked during check-in at the Masjid. Anyone with a temperature higher than 99.4 or flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to enter. 6. Unvaccinated adults can only pray outdoors in the back parking lot tents. 7. Unvaccinated children under the age of 12, who are accompanying their parents can only pray outside or stay at home. 8. Social Distancing and Masks are required at all times indoors and outdoors. 9. Make Wudu’ at home prior to coming to the Masjid as access to the bathrooms will be limited. 10. Use one of the disposable rugs provided by the Masjid for the prayer hall, and place it at any of the designated marked locations on the prayer hall floor. Outdoor attendees are required to bring their own prayer rugs for each prayer. 11. Use the plastic bags provided by the Masjid to stow your shoes and keep them with you during prayers. 12. Leave immediately after the prayers are finished and Do Not gather outside the Masjid. 13. The parking lot will be closed for automobiles except for limited handicap parking. 14. Prayers will be held inside the main prayer hall, multi purpose room and back parking lot outside the masjid building. To abide by the State and County guidelines, only limited numbers are allowed at OCIF for any given service. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY: The Orange County Islamic Foundation (“OCIF”) has put precautions in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, OCIF cannot guarantee that you or your family, will not become exposed to or infected with COVID-19. Because many infected individuals appear to be asymptomatic, attending activities at OCIF could increase your and your family’s risk of contracting COVID-19. By reserving a ticket, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you and your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. By attending OCIF services, such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, or death. You understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at OCIF may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and others, including, but not limited to, OCIF employees, volunteers, members, and participants and their families. You voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to you and your family (including without limitation personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense of any kind that you or your family may experience or incur in connection with your attendance at OCIF (“Claims”). On your behalf, and on behalf of your children, you hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless OCIF, its directors, employees, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. You understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of OCIF, its directors, employees, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during or after participation in any program.
