German Shepherd needs loving home

Story: My uncles neighbor(owner of the German Shepherd) was renting a home, and unfortunately the landlord evicted him, the owner had to move into an apartment and couldn't take his dog. So currently the dog is alone at the home, and really needs a loving forever home, he gets cared for by my uncle and the owners cousin, he and his wife can't seem to find anyone who isn't weird or shady that is willing to take him in. I met the dog personally, he is very sweet and mostly a guard dog for his home as he is 5 years old now, I can't say if he likes to play and run but in the right home he might! He gets along with little kids and only seems to bark at cats but not attack them. He loves laying in the sun and he's a big boy!
