Description
Spring Dining at the Farm We are very excited to be open to full capacity for the month of March and will be hosting dinners every Friday and Saturday night of the month. March's menu will compliment our cozy space with dishes that are both familiar and comforting (and a couple surprises). The warmer weather brings the first of the spring herbs will compliment the dishes as well. Here at the lyceum we serve a prix fixe tasting menu without choices (except for the main, which you will select on arrival). We understand that’s not for everyone. We do try to provide alternative options for courses that may not appeal to all diners, but because the menu is limited, we aren’t able to offer a wide variety of choices. If you prefer to have more control over your dining experience, we are happy to suggest some of our favorite places to eat in the area. Your ticket includes gratuity and Eventbrite fees. Tax will be added at the time of purchase. As of August 1st we will have our liquor license, and will no longer be BYOB. We will have a small menu of available house beverages, including wine, beer and NA beverages available for purchase on premise to enjoy with your dinner. Tickets are sold each night for one seating starting at 7pm. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please email [email protected] at least 24 hours ahead of time to allow us to prepare any accommodations/amendments to the menu. If you are coming in a group and will not be able to purchase tickets together, please send along their names so we can seat you together if possible. Our staff will be wearing masks and we encourage our guests to as well when not seated at the table enjoying dinner. If you have any questions or concern related to our COVID protocols, please don't hesitate to reach out. The Herb Lyceum is a working 4-acre farm in Groton Massachusetts operated by the Gilson family since the 1800s. Aside from growing a variety produce, herbs, and flowers, David Gilson, the current head of the household and first to farm on the land, has spent decades massaging the landscape to host events with a cozy, familial, and relaxed feel. The Herb Lyceum is run by the team at Puritan & Company in Cambridge, where Will Gilson is the chef.
