The Austin Area Urban League invites you to join us on March 11, 2022 for a night of music featuring local Austin artist NOVA. The Soul of the City series is a monthly concert designed to highlight local artists in the Austin metropolitan area. Serving drinks, light hors d'oeuvres, and one-of-a-kind music from underground artists, this night will be one to remember. About the Artist: NOVA NOVA, a Jacksonville Florida native, has always had a passion for music. Growing up in the church choir, her roots and foundation has always been gospel music. NOVA has been blessed to be able to pursue her career in music full time, touring and singing background for Grammy award winner, Letoya Luckett of Destiny’s Child. She has had the opportunity to open up for and share the stage with other artist such as Mary J Blige, Tank, Case, Raheem Devaughn, Troy Noka & and more! NOVA is currently the lead vocalist for party band HotSauceAtx and she’s also working on her solo career. When asked what her musical goals are, she always says, “I just want to make music that makes people feel good.”
