Description

Add on show before the main event since there's only 150 tickets left for Saturday!!! Gin & Juice, the crowd-pleasing collaboration that first brought hip-hop music to Teton Village in 2019, is back for another round at the Mangy Moose on March 19. This show has been added for our friends down in Alpine so they don't have to make the trek up the canyon Saturday. Los Angeles-based emcee J. Writing is set to team up with local musicians for another installment of Jackson’s most unique music event of the Winter. The event was first ideated by a collection of Jackson locals whose love of 90’s hip-hop music inspired them to blend talented local musicians with J. Writing’s unique flow. Bassist Leif Routman, MC Taylor Upton, guitarist Dusty Nichols, multi-instrumentalist Joe Rudd and drummer John Wayne have combined once again to bring speaker-thumping instrumentals and a smooth hip-hop vibe to some of the old school era’s most prominent jams. Gin & Juice brings a collection of songs listeners can’t find anywhere else. This one-of-a-kind collaboration covers everything from Biggy Smalls to Anderson Paak; from Ice Cube to Eminem. After nearly 5 years of collaboration together, the G&J collective is poised to bring back some old staples, as well as some new songs and artists from across the hip-hop spectrum. “We're so excited to be bringing Gin & Juice Volume V to life this Spring,” says bass player Leif Routman. “This evening will feature a seven piece live band including two MC's and will introduce local newcomer Melissa Elliot to the team. New material both classic and contemporary will get the juices flowing and the crowd pumping. Don't miss this one as it's sure to be the best yet!" Tickets for the 21+ event are $35 and will increase the day of the show. The event has sold out in year’s past, so be sure to get them while they are still available.
