Join us March 25th for a community dinner & fundraiser to support local artists and public art in Līhuʻe! When: Friday, March 24th from 7:00 to 9:00pm Where: Alakoko Shop at 2974 Kress Street, Līhuʻe Food Caterer: Backyard Mesa Cost: $65 (limit 45 attendees) COMMUNITY DINNER + FUNDRAISER. A “FEAST” is a public dinner at which attendees pay to join a catered reception, and a portion of that payment is set aside as a prize. While attendees eat, mingle, and imbibe, different artists showcase their work and explain their proposed public art project. After the presenters are finished, attendees vote on which artist’s project they wish to award the prize to. At the March 25th FEAST, artists from Moʻolelo Murals will present three different public art and placemaking projects being planned in Līhuʻe. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn about the proposed projects, and vote on / help fund their favorite ideas!
