Plan and Produce High-Quality Videos This is the perfect class for aspiring filmmakers, YouTube creators, community journalists, or those who seek to bring professional production value to their home videos. This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of high quality video production with both Panasonic digital camcorders and Sony mirrorless cameras. Using professional videography gear, students will gain practice and confidence in every aspect of video production, including: Camera Operation and UsageThree-Point Light DesignSound Capture with lavalier and shotgun (“boom”) microphonesIntentional framing and use of camera angles for storytellingMidpen Media offers an extensive library of professional filmmaking tools for the creatives and activists of our community. Upon completion of this class, students will be eligible to rent our Community Journalist video production kit, Filmmaker’s video production kit, and our high quality digital camcorders.
