Description
We're looking for a self motived, team player to help in our busy aircraft maintenance shop. The mission of a Line service technician performs a wide variety of duties that support the Mangon Aircraft Maintenance Facility and associated building and grounds in a safe, professional, and productive manner. Qualifications: A Line Technician must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Possess a valid California driver’s license with a good driving record. Pass all security and background checks. Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening. Have reliable transportation. Speak, read and write English fluently and be knowledgeable with the operation of computers. Additional requirements: • Maintain a professional and well groomed appearance. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment. • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stretch, bend, squat, and climb ladders. • Positive communication skills both verbal and written. • Follow direction and work cooperatively with co-workers and management. Required Skills: • Basic mechanical skills and ability to learn and master new skills. • General building maintenance skills • Excellent situational awareness and decision making abilities • Basic trouble shooting abilities • Attention to detail • Complex problem solving abilities • Self motivated and ability to work unsupervised in a safe, efficient and productive manner • Able to work well with co-workers and as a team. • Work effectively under pressure and time frame guidelines. • Ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner both verbally or written. • Ability to follow direction and all standard operating procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Mangon Aircraft Maintenance Facility • Preform a variety of housekeeping and maintenance duties within the maintenance floor, office and all associated buildings and grounds. • Perform various aircraft maintenance tasks under supervision as assigned by the Director of Maintenance and in cooperation with your co-workers. • Preform and complete tasks per provided checklists or direction as needed in support of daily operations and incoming and departing aircraft. • Ensure all owners personal items are returned to the proper location within the aircraft prior to customer pick up. • Ensure all aircraft are clean and prepared for customer pickup. • Follow all safety and standard operating procedures at all times and without exception when working with peers, around aircraft, shop tools, and supplies. Essencial Daily Responsibilities: • Tow or move aircraft via truck, tug or by hand as directed. • Clean, service and maintain shop tools and equipment. • General shop and office housekeeping duties as required and or directed. • Marshal incoming and outgoing aircraft • Ensure that all static aircraft are chalked and secured at all times. • Catalog personal items that are removed from each incoming aircraft. • Ensure all removed personal items are returned to each aircraft in preparation for customer pickup. • Remove trash from office and maintenance floor on a daily basis. • Clean office and bathrooms as needed and stock bathroom supplies. • Perform general grounds maintenance as needed or directed. • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment for all work stations and general shop floor. • Follow provided daily task checklists Benefit package available after probation period.
