Description

Join us as we all gather again to celebrate our achievements! Please join Brad Gibson, our 2022 Event Chair and the entire 2022 Planning Committee as we celebrate the 32nd Allie Awards at Atlanta's newest concert venue, The Eastern – a night full of rich tradition honoring amazing event professionals from Georgia and beyond. The Eastern is a state-of- the art venue in the Dairies complex in the Reynoldstown neighborhood of Atlanta, located right off of the Atlanta Beltline. The venue boasts a multi-tiered floorplan which offers unrivaled sight lines, top of the line sound and lights, spacious floorplan, and rooftop which includes a covered performance space, bar, restaurant and open-air seating. Out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s health and safety, our venue will be requiring all guests to either be fully vaccinated or have a negative Covid test 72 hours prior to the event. This includes all ticket holders, volunteers and vendors. We will update this website should these requirements change. We look forward to gathering again and celebrating together with you! Evening Attire… Formal - Black tie optional – Dress to Impress! Coming Soon… This year's host hotel will be The Wylie Hotel! Please reference the Allie Awards when booking your stay to receive our discounted rate. Self Parking will be available on site for $5.00. Use of ride share services is encouraged. Stay on top of Allie Awards news by making sure that we have your correct email address. #AllieAwards2022 In The Beginning The inaugural Allie Awards was held in 1991 to an audience of 185 event professionals from the Greater Atlanta area. The event was held during a broadcast of the annual Academy Awards, with Allie awards presented during commercial breaks. That year there were few categories. Each year since, new awards have been added to acknowledge and recognize the growth and depth of Georgia’s live events industry. Today Over the course of the last 31 years, the Allie Awards has grown into the premiere recognition event for the live events industry – recognizing outstanding examples of quality work and creativity from event professionals throughout the State of Georgia and the Southeastern United States. This annual event demonstrates how working together for the common good of the industry promotes excellence in design, planning, and production. The Allie Awards program remains a model for industry award programs across the country. Allie Awards Inc. is a Certified 501(c)(3) Public Charity supported by a volunteer Board of Directors. Proceeds from the annual event goes toward scholarships established for Georgia’s rising stars participating in collegiate level hospitality programs.
