Has anyone else noticed that "outrage" has become trendy?

Description

People are outraged over politics. They are outraged over protests. They are outraged over covid. They are outraged because their coffee is too hot. They are outraged that the sky is blue. They are outraged because pizzas are round. It seems to me that people work to find things to be outraged about. I believe that acting "outraged" makes people feel more relevant. Happy people fade into the background while "angry" people garner attention. People use outrage to draw attention to themselves. To feel a sense of significance. Personally, I prefer happiness. Anger and outrage are draining. It takes a great deal of energy to be angry. It recharges my batteries to be happy. Some people work hard to find the negative in any given situation. I work to find the positive in every situation. Happiness suits me much more than manufactured anger.
