I'm getting pretty tired of the liberals making huge assumptions and assigning belief systems to people they don't know from Adam. This OP is a perfect example. I'm a pretty rabid conservative and a huge supporter of green energy. The difference between my beliefs and those of a liberal are my beliefs take into account reality. Green energy will eventually come around, but it will take a long time for that to happen. We won't wake up tomorrow with an upgraded electrical infrastructure and EV batteries that will go 1,000 miles between charges. We'll get there but not tomorrow and not in the next 10 years. Every conservative I know shares these basic assumptions. Liberals do not. Liberals will immediately sacrifice our entire economy to go green overnight. They have a basic misunderstanding about how economies and infrastructure works. I'm pretty sure Trump and the GOP does see the future in green energy, but they are pragmatic about it and don't want to turn our country into a wasteland trying to get there.
