Purchased a beautiful proven pair of Blue and Gold macaws from a couple who had them their whole life. They had babies for the previous owners 3 years in a row. 17 and 18 years old which is young for these parrots. They sold them to me for $4500 because they wanted to start traveling and didn’t have anyone at home to care for the parrots while they travel. I purchased them thinking I’ll be able to house them in our back yard to breed them as a side hustle since I love these big birds. It’s not going as planned. They are loud when they sound off at sunrise and sunset which became a problem for our neighbors not to mention my parents. I brought them indoors hoping to remedy the situation. That failed since they go off even more because they are not used to humans being in their faces all day. I’m left no choice but to sell them after 4 months of attempting to make it work. Paid $4500 for them and $650 for a huge cage for them. I can sell just the pair or pair and cage at cost. No discounts will be given. I’m looking to get back the cash I paid and I know these birds are worth a whole lot more. Just a baby sells for $4500 or more. No phone number to share.
