Hi I’m a guitarist been playing for 18 years looking for a band to join. Preferably a band in their 20’s (as am I) who look to make a full career in writing music and play shows/touring but I’ll play cover tunes if necessary. I have been playing in bands since about 15 having been in cover bands of different styles, country bands, rock bands, electronic music bands, acoustic duos, pop bands, metal bands and more. I studied jazz/pop theory for 2 years learning to read and write music while playing in a jazz big band where I gained a great ear as well as learning to play with many different instruments. Then I took a few years to play in some bands. After that I spent 7 months as a student of the James Gardiner music mentor program where I learned to become a good songwriter and studio musician while learning the technicalities of the studio. Recently in the last 2 and a half years I studied classical guitar/music where I very much improved my ability to read music, play smoother and more precise and gained a better ear while improving on my music theory. Now I would love to be a part of a band who absolutely lives for music and wants to basically write music, record, put out new music and play tons of shows and tour as much as possible. A band who wants to work hard but absolutely loves music. I know I will make for a good band member always showing up on time all rehearsed and ready to help make the band better every day. Please note I can also play piano very well as well as provide vocal harmonies from a year of lessons. I am based in the North Bay but will drive for the right opportunity.
