What if we could learn to share the "good news" the way Jesus did?
Some people are uncomfortable talking with others about life with God. Because of that, they might default to one of the many models for "sharing the Gospel" with someone. But perhaps there is a simpler way to approach the idea of sharing the good news about Jesus with others--we could learn from Jesus Himself.
On two Tuesday evenings, March 5 and 8, we will be dipping into the Gospels to watch Jesus interact with those who need the "good news" that He has to share with them. We won't end up with a formulaic approach to talking with others, but we will gain some insight into how to more freely share with others about life with God.
Freedom Church in Mauldin will be hosting this in-person class. Sessions will begin at 6:30 each night. Although the class is free, we ask you to register so we can plan accordingly.
Every Christian needs opportunities to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus and to deepen his or her understanding of Scripture (2 Peter 3:18). The River is a cooperative ministry venture focused on empowering and encouraging communities of faith through Biblical training, curricula, and mentorship. Through a growing understanding of Scripture, believers will discover a richness of Biblical truth that will supplement their journey in faith, enhance their joy in Jesus, and encourage them in ministry in their respective churches.
