General Construction Laborer - Site Assistant

Approach Build LLC is a residential single family home builder in the Seattle area, building new construction homes with the highest of standards, looking for a new team member for Construction Site Assistance and General Laborer. Compensation is $20 – $25hr Dependent on Experience This position is currently PART TIME: 15-40 hrs per week If the candidate is a great fit, and eager to do more, full time opportunities are likely - dependent on the project load. Primary Responsibilities will include: -Working to maintain clean and safe construction sites -Detailing of high-end homes prior to buyer move in, to include; drywall, paint, caulking, touch-ups & misc. repairs. -Light framing and carpentry -Perform a broad range of construction tasks, without supervision, while maintain Approach Build’s quality and customer service standards. -Other tasks include household handyman services, yard maintenance and regular lawn mowing and edging. -Maintain well organized, clean, professional and presentable sites on multiple projects -Provide/Assist in misc. tasks in owner occupied homes -Develop creative solutions when confronted by unique problems -Other construction and maintenance tasks as assigned Requirements: -Ability to work independently -Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance -Reliable transportation -High school diploma -Physically capable of lifting/carrying 75 lbs -Ability to climb ladders and work at gutter-level heights -Basic power and hand tools for construction and basic home maintenance -Able to pass drug and background check -Having a truck and your own basic hand/power tools is a plus Candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude that is great at taking direction. Must be able to work independently, responsible, pride in work and attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
