Join other kids + families to help Ben's Bells Project with their current creative needs, be it painting windchimes or Kindness Coins. WHAT TO EXPECT: Work alongside other families to help create one part of the colorful ceramic flowers known as Ben's Bells. Many volunteers donate their time and creative efforts to make these bells or to paint Kindness Coins. By the time each bell is hung or Kindness Coin is handed out, an entire community has had a part in making another person's day a little kinder. KIND NOTES: This is an indoor and in-person volunteer project. Please bring and wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. We have a two-hour painting time slot. You are welcome to stay + paint for the entire time, or paint for just one hour based on your Kid Volunteers interest + attention span. A takeaway snack will be provided for the Kid Volunteers at the completion of the project. Stay tuned for additional details to help you prepare for the day! Crafting Kind Kids is a family volunteering organization that works with a variety of Tucson non-profits to develop and create family-friendly volunteering opportunities for kids ages 5 and up.
