At the moment, I need wood floor removed, and a decoupling membrane and a tile floor put in. I also need a shower valve replaced which will likely require waterproofing and tile replacement where the valve is finished. I also need someone to clean a mini-split. These can be done by different people. So, if you only have experience cleaning a mini-split, say, please contact me.
I am looking for people who are knowledgeable and experienced, are not offended by explaining how the job will be done and are open when preferences are given. I am a researcher, so I always look at the best practices in the industry to do any job. I will need someone who understands or is willing to learn about and comply with the industry standards, such as ASTM, NALFA, ANSI, etc., because not all handymen/women have been taught to use best practices.
Skill, a reasonable hourly rate, and friendliness are more important to me than a license.
