Press release from the Miami-Dade County Government: February 14, 2022 Miami-Dade County offices will close Monday, Feb. 21 to observe Presidents Day. Read about service changes on the holiday and take part in events planned during the long weekend. County Services Miami-Dade County administrative offices will be closed. Libraries will be closed Monday, Feb. 21. Miami-Dade Transit will run on a regular schedule. Solid Waste Management will be offering regularly-scheduled waste and recycling service. Weekend Activities Spend time with the whole family at Miami-Dade County Parks. Enjoy nature trails, go on our waterways or enjoy a number of activities offered by Miami-Dade Parks in our outdoor spaces.  Spend the long weekend learning about the history of South Florida. Visit Deering Estate or Vizcaya to learn more about these historic spaces and how they contributed to our community today.  Fruit & Spice Park, Zoo Miami and Trail Glades Range are all open for everyone to enjoy.
